DEATH SET LIMITED EDITION CDR

London designer Alexandra Groover is pleased to announce the release of the DEATH SET, a limited edition CDR double disc containing both soundtracks from her AW12 film and collection presentation. Limited to only 67 copies and released in collaboration with CLEAN, each numbered set comes elegantly packaged in its own black shroud made exclusively in Alexandra Groover’s London studio.

Disc 1 features a specially composed DEATH SET by cult industrial musician Dave.i.d, while Disc 2 features a special DEATH DJ mix by Andrew Hartwell of Aurora Borealis Records.

With a nod to the tradition of artist’s books, each set of discs is cleverly sewn into a shroud made of Groover’s signature black jersey that folds compactly into itself, creating an outside pocket which contains liner notes beautifully designed by Simon Owens. Marked with dotted lines, the listener must cut into the fabric to retrieve the discs, thus participating in a ritual of exhumation.
